Love Passes All Boundries
Even If It Seems Impossible...
Chapter 1: The Meeting
Even with her ears slammed back, Killer could hear the sick cackling. She kept going, her head spinning. Once again, rejection had befallen her. She picked up her pace as she zipped past all of the members of her age group. She glanced shortly at her friends, but kept going, running.
"Why don't you just give up" Spat one male.
"Good idea! How about you go jump off of a cl-" the voice cut off as Killer crashed into a large mass of muscle and brawn.
She could hear everyone holding their breath. Killer looked up slowly to face a blue gas mask, and get the full view of steel plating across the chest of a Kodiak bear. She nearly screamed, but kept calm.
“Guys, leave her be” The deep, rumbling voice barked.
She looked behind her as everyone fled the area. She wondered if she should go with them, or just stand very still. The bear stood there, staring down at her. Suddenly, the bear raised his paw, and whipped dripping blood from Killer’s cheek.
“They did hurt you, it seems. Don’t try telling me otherwise”
She nodded softly, looking at her paws. When a pair of cold talons landed on her head, Killer jumped back and cried out on fear. A Barn Owl bent down and looked at her.
"So sorry, miss!" The owl chirped.
The bear growled, and Killer felt as her legs turned to jelly. She heared someone running behind her, and looked back. She could see the fear in the eyes of Ib and Exodus as they looked upon the giganitc animal. She tried to give them a grin, but her fear didn't allow it. She had never been so dangerously close to the intimidating mass of brawn and teeth. Killer was completely terified. The bear looked almost hurt at the look in the eyes of the wolf. He sighed and turned on his hunches before stalking away into the trees. Then, Killer's eyes overflowed. Not with sadness over the event of rejection, but over the bear leaving. As if he could smell it, the bear stopped and looked back. Ib and Exodus had long since ran off, and Killer stood alone.
"D-don't leave me alone" she whimpered.
The bear stared at her, and as soon as she thought he was about to reject her request, with surprisingly soft pawsteps, he came closer, and his paw wrapped over her shoulders. He held her softly against his chestplating, feeling the soft jolts as her body was wracked with broken sobs. The small, dainty little wolf against him, warm and welcoming. He pressed his mask against the top of her head. The red tinted glass hid his eyes well, as the shadows shifted ever so softly west. The sun was making rounds to go to bed, and none could honestly say they didn't have it in their thoughts to fallow. With a soft hiss from the mask as he exhaled, The bear watched as Killer pulled away. A smile sat upon her lips, directed at him.
